Re-remake (v0.6)
Hi, long time no see!
I've decided to re-remake the game from scratch because the last project became unmaintainable. The codebase was messy, poorly structured, and adding features felt like fighting against the code.
This time, I'm working more methodically with better architecture: clear separation of concerns, proper state management, consistent naming conventions, and GDScript best practices from the start. I finally integrated placeholder assets that give a real sense of the game's aesthetic.
Current state: The game features a Quest Board (browse quests with animated papers and effects) and a Party Maker (recruit heroes with smart placement). This is just a demo - you can't play a full game loop yet, but the foundation is solid and extensible.
What's next: Item shop, expedition system, hero progression, relationships, events, and save/load functionality.
I don't give up, even if progress is slow. Every remake teaches me something new. The code is cleaner, the vision is clearer, and I'm building on solid foundations rather than duct-taping features together.
This time feels different. Stay tuned!
